Procrastination has finally stepped aside...Hopefully it stays there for a long time. This is kinda like STAR WARS, with the story unfolding backwards. Good thing this blog allows backtracking for me to catch up with the 1st month.
My precious Jonah is already 5 weeks 2 days old! Thank God that he is growing well and feeding well. This week has passed so quickly for a person who takes day by day. Soon the 'Mummy' reinforcements gonna stop coming and I'll be on my own.
Each time I look at Jonah's face, it still feels so surreal... I'm actually a mother!! I can hardly take care of myself and now I have to take care of someone?? But each time I look at him, he reminds me that he is all mine...my very own. He's so vulnerable, making me want to just protect him from everything.
JONAH~"a dove"; a reminder of God's BIG HEART and grace, always giving us 2nd chances. This is of greater significance to us when we started as a couple. How his whole name came about revealed miraculous coincidence, or rather God's plan in progress.
His dialect name YAP WOON SEN, chinese name YE WEN XUAN~"an evangelist"
It all ties together. Thank God for showing us and helping us decide.
Tomorrow another day of challenge awaits. But first, let me get through tonite. I hear him stirring, awakening for his midnight snack.
